Down 1.4 lbs and 3 inches!! Not bad for one week. I hope, I KNOW I'll have more on Monday!!

Another week

And another week has come and gone. ::sigh:: I wish I was working, making good money and getting ready to have a child. I wish that I could just find something that would be better than what I'm doing now-NOTHING! I try and stay optimistic but some days, I just wanna scream. I feel like crying and just staying in a ball and not face the world. But if I did that, then I wouldn't get very far. Instead, I put it behind me, and move forward. I think about the future and what will be there waiting for us. I know this is yet another step back, but we can only go forward right?

And heres another side note, I'm back in the bandwagon, diet bandwagon that is (but what else would it be?) and am doing the 30 day shred. I started on Monday the 17th and I plan on sticking with this one. So far I've only taken one day off because I was extremely sore, and I think I'll take tonight off as well, because I'm sore. Every Monday I will take my measurements and weight and plug it in. I better see a change in 30 days. I'm so tired of being the fat girl, that I want this change. I'll post on Monday my findings, until then, ta ta for now.

So....

Last Friday was my last day. I got my check at 4:45 and left work at 4:55. I had all my stuff packed up and I knew the owner was downstairs on a call. So I just had to get past him to get to my truck. I get past him and he didn't even see me! Success! I go to the bank, and along comes my fellow co-workers, they suspect nothing. Cash my check and I'm gone! So I went a whole week and not one phone call from that company. I guess they knew it was going to happen and it wasn't a surprise.

I went to a temp agency on Friday too and did all the paperwork and necessary computer tests and we'll see what happens. I hope I get something soon. Meantime, I'm still looking in the paper, online, etc.

As far as my body is concerened, I think I'm not ovulating. I feel twinges 2 weeks after my period where my ovaries are, but I'm not getting the temp spike I need to see. The OPK's that I'm using are working, but no positives yet. I just started snythroid so maybe that will jumpstart my ovulation. I hope so. I've always had this feeling that I was going to have problems getting pregnant and so far it holds true. I mean, we are not TTC now, but I'm still going thru the motions as if we were.

Update for those who care

So, as of last Friday, we are now down to 5 ppl. The partner left on Friday and the owner didn't tell us why. I have a feeling that we are about to be evicted from the building.....the maintenance ppl keep coming by asking for the owner and hes never there. Makes me very suspicious....Friday is my last day. I don't care. I'm going to take my check over to Wachovia, cash it, I don't care if they are going to charge me $5, I wanna my money that I worked hard for and I'm never looking back. Screw him. He wants to work us all to death and then say, oh, well you don't have a job now. Hes not even paying taxes nor taking taxes out of our checks. Thats not what I signed up for. Tomorrow I'm calling some temp agencys to see if they have some temp to perm work and I'm still looking at the paper and craigs list. Screw these ppl!!

DH is going back to St Louis. ::sigh:: At least I can get some good workouts while hes gone.

What a week. First time in 4 months I worked a full work week. Definitely a different change. I was beginning to think they didn't like me because all week long they (the 4 mangers and the accountant) were in meetings with each other all day long. They would bounce back and forth between offices and then go to lunch together....nevermind that they all came in at 10:30-11 and then left for lunch at noon and back around 1:30. But after all that, the accountant said she was leaving, she had a baby 6 weeks ago and doesn't feel that she can work and take care of the baby at the same time. Then I was thinking, they might let me go because I was the last one hired. So at 4:30 the owner called me in his office and I started to worry, only for him to tell me that they were downsizing part of the company and that they want me to stay. So I was happy about that. There are 4 other girls that were afraid they might lose their jobs, but they are ok too. They are only getting rid of the sales people and keeping the rest. Will probably downsize to a smaller office and go from there. Keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully things will continue to get better.

Also, with the job, found out that they don't have group insurance, instead there is a guy who comes in and you pick what you want and he gives you a price on it. I was a little mislead about that, but the owner said they 'may' get group in a few months. Who knows, and who knows if I'm going to still be there. Depends on what happens with this downsizing.

DH is out of town this weekend. He was out all week. Up in St Louis at the Ritz Carlton to upgrade their phone system. Once he gets back, he won't have a steady job anymore. Hopefully he can find something soon thats more reliable. At this rate, we'll never move to Central Fl. So while hes gone, I'm pressure cleaning the apartments...should be fun with all the rain we had today.

What a busy weekend

Started off Saturday trimming the hedges and running errans after that. Then today, we mowed, weedeated, and sprayed roundup for weeds. Trying to get most of the 'man stuff' done because Hubbs is going out of town for a week =(. He leaves Tues and comes back Mon. Not looking forward to a whole week with out my hubbs. Next weekend I'm going to be pressure washing the drive ways and side walks. Should be interesting. Tomorrow is my dads birthday. I think we are doing burgers on the grill. Something easy and cheap. Money is hard these days, even though I have a job now, I don't get paid until 2 more weeks. Ugh, and I won't get unemployment next week, because I worked 3 days of the week that I would be claiming. So no more 'free' money. I hope these 3 months go by quickly so that we can start planning our family.

Our relaxing weekend

We left Friday afternoon to head over to the West Coast of FL, to Englewood Beach. We love it there. Got married there. Will retire there....one day ::sigh:: The weather was perfect, the water was a nice 88 degrees, couldn't get any better. Spent all day Saturday shelling and lounging in the water. Sunday did the same until noon. Oh well. At least we had some good quality time together.
