What an awesome weekend

Drove up to Lakeland on Friday night. Got up early on Saturday to drive to Tampa to get K. Got there at 9 am and were so excited to see her. Its like everytime we see her she gets older. Drove back to Lakeland and headed to the museum. Its pretty cool, they have a little grocery store, a post office, a tv station, a space staion....all for the kids to play with and interact with. After that we went to the park and she played, had lunch and it was nap time. Went back to the house and did some paints and coloring and then made dinner. Got up the next morning and went to Steak and Shake, which we always do with her. Then we went to another park that had like 6 jungle gyms for her to play on and a butterfly garden. It was soo pretty! After that we hit the pool, got her lunch and then headed back to Tampa. She was out like a light. It was a good trip and the more we are with her, the more she doesn't wanna go back to mommy. I think thats great

I have a new job interview today. Just got done eating my breakfast and going to go jump in the shower and start getting ready. I hope I get this one. It seems like its more of what I was doing at the last job. Money is getting pretty tight these days and I think I may have to go cash in my gold coin from our wedding. Its worth $750-800 and it would be nice to have that. I'm still contemplating on whether or not I should. I can't remember how long I get unemployment for and I'm sure its coming up.....started in March, and got my first payment in April. Keep your fingers crossed!

Just a little update

Nothing really new to report....same ole, same ole. I had my interview yesterday and although I need a job...mainly for the benefits and to be quite honest I'm tired of the housework, I'm content pulling in my unemployment money and nesting. I look forward to DH getting home so that we can do something together...it's no fun sitting here all day and no one to talk to. He must think I'm a chatty cathy when he gets home. Ah, thats life right?

This is going to be a vent post...I have a lot of things I need to get off my chest

1. I am so tired of being unemployed. I have been since March and, thankfully, I am getting unemloyment but I'm sure like all the other people getting it, its not really consistant. I used to get it once a week and now its whenever they feel like it. HELLO!!! I still need to pay my bills!!! I have looked in the paper every weekend and craigslist and I'm just sick of it. I guess my next route would be a temp agency.

2. My truck is going in today. It won't start and I hope its nothing major. The warranty coverage is pretty good, but I'm still worried about it.

3. I got an off the wall myspace message from my SIL. (I'll try to make the back story short...since my wedding...now a year...I haven't spoken with her nor my brother. My brother sent me an email basically telling me to stay out of his life. They have a son, my nephew whom we (my family) has only see maybe 10 times. We were not invited to his one year birthday, nor his second. We do not get phone calls/cards/emails for birthdays, anniversarys, mothers day (my mom was pretty torn up) nothing. So now on to the story....she left me a comment telling me that there is a orlando premier this weekend and that they are offering massage therapy ceus. WTF?! Not a hi, how are you....just that. So I replied that I already have mine for the renewal. I'm still saying WTF.

Now I feel better. Happy Hump day.

So far this week.....

I have been getting my butt kicked by Denise Austin. Why do I do this to myself?? Ughh, but I know its for the better. Tuesday, Wednesday I did her DVD, yesterday I took a break because my thighs were killing me. But DH and I went for a bike ride. And this morning I took the dog for a walk on roller blades.....yeah....that was fun. She did pretty well for never being with me on roller blades before.

I know what my weight was before and I'm going to see how much I can lose by the end of June. I'm trying to think of it as a lifestyle change versus a diet, which is what it should be. Ughh, its sooo hard.

AW: Our first anniversary!

Wow....I can't believe its been a year already. My DH is so sweet. He got up before me and had flowers and a card ready for me when I got up. We then we to TooJays for breakfast and did a little shopping at the Mall. We then did some 'house shopping' (which is what I call it, for grocerys, maybe something for repairs like Home Depot). He had to run an erran so I went and took a nap and when I got up he had picked up my favorite for lunch, Tijuana Flats! We finished with that and got ready for our night out. We went to Figs, which was so good. We've never been there before but the reviews seem promising. Got a bottle of wine (I love me some Resling) and these Chicken Meatballs. We then ordered our dinner, I got the skirt steak and he ordered some bolognese pasta thing and then they brought out the awesome dessert (which was on the house because of our anniversary, which was so nice) bread pudding! Now, I'm not a huge fan of bread pudding, but the way they cooked it ::drools:: it was so good!

So needless to say I am back on the diet waggon, lol. No more crap and no more wheat products. Lets hope that this works.

So in 3 days is our one year anniversary!!!! Gosh, we have been thru so much this year and I hope the next year is a lot smoother.

Ugh, I'm so upset with my dog.

She's becoming a picky eater. I have never had any problems with her. I think it might be because we just moved (it will be 2 weeks on Sat.) but I haven't changed anything about her food. I feed her Beneful playful blend and she gets probably about 2 tablespoons of gravy (usually some of the jar kind- chicken, beef or pork flavor) I don't know if its because shes missing my moms dog or if its because of the new place or combo of both? It frustrating because I'm throwing away food and I hate to do that. There are so many animals out there that aren't getting fed and here I'm throwing it out. Any suggestions??
