So let me tell you how it happened!! Well, we know how 'it' happened, lol. But how I found out. I thought AF was due to come on May 2nd. I was moody and crampy and all the symptoms of AF. When she didn't show, I thought, ah, well maybe I'm a little late, but I'll test in the AM. So, May 3rd, I got up at my normal time and got out my IC's and 2 tests that I had bought from the dollar store....and lo and behold both came out positive within seconds. I had to wait until 9 am to call my Dr's. Got a hold of them and was able to be seen the same day. Not really sure what I was expecting from the first appt but I was nervous. After the room was cleaned, they brought me into the u/s room. And then that's when I saw the little black circle with the little white line. Total shock. I was told that I was due on 12/29 and that I was about 5w5d. After I picked up my jaw, I was told that I have to go do blood work and to come back on May 25th. I hope when I go back I'll be able to see the h/b since I wasn't able to then.
As far as symptoms, (knocking on wood) I have none. No nausea, no vomiting, just a few food aversion and hungry every few hours. I had to go to Motherhood Maternity and get some newer bras....yep, I've grown a full cup size. My boobs are not mine. They are full and heavy! I also got some maternity pants just because my pants now are snug and it looks like I have a fat roll hanging over, lol. I mean, I could wear my other pants, but the bloat is bad. And I did buy a beband, and I'm sorry, it doesn't do me any good.
So yea....here I am, pregnant. Holy Shit!!!
